A former Network Engineer by profession, born and raised in Dubai, Deena decided to prepare herself for the birth of her first child by taking AMANI Birth Classes. Inspired by the outcome of her own birth as opposed to that of her near and dear, she decided to train and certify as an AMANI Childbirth Educator and Doula. She is also a Breastfeeding Counsellor and an Elimination Communication Consultant. She is passionate about striving to change the birth culture by educating and empowering women to take charge of their body and their birth.
