"Assalamu Alaikum, I am Wasifa, a homemaker, freelance product photographer and a mother of 2 girls alhumdulillah. Since I have become pregnant for the first time, I felt this strong urge to know about physiology of pregnancy and birth. I also came to realize that here in Bangladesh women are not much aware of childbirth education. They practice lot of false concepts and myths. Also people have minimum ideas about natural birth. This concern drove to get certification from AMANI, alhumdulillah.
I am passionate about helping families have positive and empowering births. I offer childbirth classes, doula support, and postpartum care. With evidence-based childbirth education from AMANI, I believe that all women deserve to have a say in their birth experience. I am working with "Matritto.com" an organization working since 2014 for empowering mothers with knowledge so that mothers can create birth stories that are tailored to evidence based.
I wish to continuously upgrade my knowledge so that I can contribute more in this society for the wellbeing of mothers to have a positive birth in sha Allah.

Allah (SWT) has created women with the ability to give birth naturally, unless there are any complications. As a woman, you know that you are capable of giving birth. However, many Bangladeshi women have a fear of normal birth. This fear is often due to a lack of knowledge about the process of childbirth. With knowledge, we can find empowerment and light. I would like to offer my knowledge and support to you during your pregnancy journey. Together, we can make your birth experience a wonderful one, insha'Allah.
