She is passionate about empowering women and girls with transformative knowledge through education, mentoring, and coaching, especially in areas concerning personal wellbeing and development. During play hours, Muna enjoys many adventures (real and imaginary) with her four children and husband in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Harvard University and a Master of Education degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

Sarah is an English teacher in Czech Republic majoring in Teaching ESL. She has worked off and on for AMANI Birth almost since its inception. She believes that birth should be an empowering transition to motherhood and that the expectant couple deserves to be educated together so that the husband is as prepared as the pregnant mother. Sarah enjoys reading and swimming and although she is in no hurry to become a mother herself just yet, she recognizes the value of knowledge and supports the AMANI philosophy of educating families to make informed decisions on their childbearing journey.

Dr. Dea and her husband, Shandy, have had 7 children and live in Bogor, Indonesia. Together they helped to build the AMANI Birth Indonesia community. In 2012 they attended the first AMANI workshop in Indonesia. Dr. Dea had empowering birth experiences after attending, including 5 VBACs after 2 C/S, including her vaginally born twins! In 2014 she was the first person in Indonesia to certify as an AMANI Childbirth Educator and Doula. She wants to encourage every mother and family to get educated before they're pregnant by preparing for the childbirth. Because knowledge is the power to achieve a better start for mothers and babies.

Amani is the teen daughter of AMANI Birth founders, Mohammed and Aisha Al Hajjar. She has grown up playing inside AMANI Birth trainings and is the youngest to actually attend the AMANI Birth Teacher and Doula workshop as an enrolled participant at the age of 10 in December of 2020. She has a desire to support the AMANI Birth growth in Australia and has taken up the book marketing for the Land Down Under, including development of a website specifically for that purpose.
